Foo Fighters have released a video for their latest single "These Days," the third such song to be taken off the band's seventh long player Wasting Light, released last April. The video, which was shot during the band's trek through Australia and New Zealand, is comprised largely of live footage. The band recently revealed that they plan to enter the studio to begin work on a new record this year and frontman Dave Grohl has stated that he is already compiling songs.

"We're not finished yet," he said in a posting on the band's blog. "There are still more shows to play, more songs to write, more albums to record, for years to come. I mean if you would have told me 17 years ago that in 2012 I would be writing songs for our eighth studio album . . . well."

Blur's Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon have been announced as special guests for this year's Brit Awards preshow fundraising event. The two will also be appearing at the Brit Awards as Blur accepts the Outstanding Contribution To Music award. Bassist Alex James recently revealed that the band would definitely be performing at the event, stating: "We're going to play, which is brilliant, it's like putting the Blues Brothers back together."

The video will premiere on Monday, February 6, at 7:54 p.m. ET on MTV. Immediately following the clip's debut, the Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney will sit down for an exclusive 30-minute interview that will stream on MTV.com. In this interview, filmed before a Keys' sold-out show in Berlin.

Black Sabbath is currently at work on a forthcoming reunion album, and now the band members may be honored in their hometown of Birmingham, England. According to the city's Destination Birmingham, city officials are considering naming one day next summer "Black Sabbath Day." "Black Sabbath's reunion and their agreement to headline Download Festival in June is an opportunity we should not miss. Early discussions are taking place about how best the city should celebrate," the report said.

Early discussions are taking place about how best the city should celebrate this and the council should be supporting any celebrations," Destination Birmingham's Philip Parkin wrote.

"The report is saying that Black Sabbath reforming is significant, Black Sabbath are huge and metal is huge. Given this, it is us saying to the council that we need to celebrate the fact these people come from Birmingham and there could be various ways we could do it."

"Ozzy Osbourne came from Aston and he's an international star," he added.

The band members recently moved work on their new album from California to the U.K. where guitarist Tony Iommi is receiving cancer treatment.
