Toy maker Mattel recently released a new limited-edition David Bowie Barbie doll.
The second David Bowie doll in its Barbie Signature Collection was released to mark the 50th anniversary of Bowie's 1971 album, Hunky Dory.
The David Bowie Barbie Doll #2 is dressed in a replica powder-blue suit Bowie wore in his "Life on Mars?" music video.
The doll's outfit includes other iconic details such as the foil-printed pin-stripe shirt, the statement tie, platform shoes, blue eye shadow and "a hairstyle inspired by Bowie's 70s glam era," Mattel said.
"David Bowie was a one-man cultural phenomenon for his contributions to music, art, fashion, and film - and the doll is a tribute to the pop legend who continue to be recognized as a cultural vanguard," the toy brand added.
Barbie first honored Bowie three years ago by recreating his Ziggy Stardust alter ego, complete with space suit and makeup effects in doll form.
The new David Bowie Barbie doll, priced at $50, will be available on MattelCreations.com, Amazon, Walmart and Target.

Danny Elfman has announced Bigger. Messier., a brand new genre-defying album of remixed and reimagined versions of songs from his acclaimed 2021 record Big Mess and shared the first track, "Kick Me" featuring the legendary Iggy Pop.
The re-envisioned version of "Kick Me" brings out Iggy's signature conversational essence along with instrumental contributions from Leron Thomas.
"Kick me/ I'm a celebrity," Iggy says, before drawling like a game show announcer, "Losers not invited." It's a pretty funny mashup, especially when the artist growls, "I'm a selfish asshole" over Elfman's frenetic strings.
The 21-track record features collaborations and guest vocal features from a slew of artists including Trent Reznor, HEALTH, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Zach Hill of Death Grips, Xiu Xiu, Squarepusher, Ghostemane and several others.
Bigger. Messier. will be out on August 12 via ANTI-/Epitaph Records, and distributed by Republic. It will be available in vinyl, CD and digital formats, with two exclusive bonus tracks featured on the digital edition.

Gene Simmons has revealed that KISS plan to add "another 100 cities" before wrapping up their "End of the Road Tour."
In an interview with YouTube channel Chaoszine, Simmons said he was unsure when the band would actually end their farewell tour.
"We don't know. We've never retired before. This is our first time," Simmons said. "It's like painting a painting or writing a book. When somebody says, 'When is it gonna be finished?' You're in the middle of it; you don't know."
"The crew is happy. Everybody's happy. So we've decided to add another 100 cities before we stop. I don't know how long that's gonna take," he added.
KISS' farewell tour was originally set to conclude on July 21, 2021, but it was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The group finally returned to the road last fall, which included several postponements due to Simmons, frontman Paul Stanley and various crew members contracting COVID.
Expanding the tour by another 100 cities would probably bring the tour's end date past the 50th anniversary of KISS' first show on January 30, 2023.
