Neil Young Collaborator Ben Keith Dead At 73

Ben Keith, a steel guitarist best known for his work with Neil Young and Patsy Cline, has died at the age of 73. Keith appeared on many of Young's best loved recordings including Harvest, On the Beach and Prairie Wind. Keith first connected with Young for Harvest in 1971, when Young traveled to Nashville for an appearance on the Johnny Cash Show.

Bono's Injury Costs Insurance Firm $17.5 Million

Bono's back injury and emergency surgery have reportedly left one insurance firm holding the bag for about $17.5 million. According to a new report from the U.K.'s Sun, a firm called Robertson Taylor is responsible for the Irish rocker's medical costs. The U2 frontman slipped a disk in his back while rehearsing for a North American leg of the band's epic 360° tour, forcing the group to cancel 16 dates.

Frank Zappa Statue To Be Unveiled In Hometown Of Baltimore

An unveiling of a statue dedicated to the late Frank Zappa will take place in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland in September, where it will be featured during a week of events to celebrate his life. One of the events featured will be a concert by Zappa's son, Dweezil. The statue itself is being placed at the Southeast Anchor Library in Highlandtown. The statue was dedicated by a Zappa fan club in Lithuania.
